6-Week Course Prerequisite: None Dogs should be at least 5 months old to enroll *** There will be NO CLASS the week of Thanksgiving (11/25 - 11/29) *** Whether you have a puppy looking for advanced socialization skills, a dog looking to take their obedience to a greater level, or a sporty dog looking to advance their performance in the ring, canine fitness can help achieve that. Canine Fitness Training focuses on all five aspects of canine total health: Strength, Balance, Flexibility, Cardiorespiratory, and Mental Endurance. In this six-week foundations class, we will work on the basics of body awareness, targeting skills, balance, and strength training mechanics. Fitness Foundations is open to dogs starting at 5-months of age (puppy shots must be complete before the start of class). This class will teach your dog how to process sensory input through interaction with a variety of surfaces through specially designed canine fitness equipment and how to maneuver their body through a multiple of reps designed to enhance their body and performance. The class is designed to: - Build Confidence and Problem-Solving Skills - Impulse Control - Obedience Skills like sit, down, and touch - Body Awareness - Whole Body Strength
